GREGORY CHANDLER--CAFFEINE FOR LATIC ACID RELIEF




Many individuals take caffeine for its fat burning effects.  Additional reasons to take caffeine are to boost ones metabolic
rate as well as increase mental alertness. 

Another view is that caffeine may reduce lactic acid
buildup as muscle glycogen is depleted. 
One study found that 300 mg of caffeine taken prior
to a workout reduced the amount of
muscle burning felt by subjects in the study.
