SUMMER AND THE NATIONAL BASKETBALL ASSOCIATION?
The National Basketball Association (NBA) decides its championship tonight. My prediction is that the Oklahoma City Thunder will win the championship over the Indiana Pacers. After many years of watching the NBA championship, I often ponder the fact that the final game is played near or during summertime. The NBA takes what is essentially a wintertime game and stretches the season from fall to winter, to spring, and finally to summer.
